The best dog daycares prioritize safety, calm supervision, clear communication, and consistency. Look for a space that actively manages energy, thoughtfully assesses dogs before enrollment, and treats care as a long-term relationship rather than high-volume play. Trust and transparency matter as much as exercise.
-
Yes. All new dogs begin with a temperament test appointment so we can make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and a good fit for group play. The test takes about 15 minutes. We start by letting your dog explore the space on their own, then we slowly introduce calm, compatible dogs one at a time.
If your pup passes and seems happy in the environment, they’re welcome to stay for daycare right after the test. If they need more time or aren’t a match for group play, we’ll talk you through next steps.
